Considered one of the finest landscape painters in America, Arnold Alaniz was born and raised in Texas and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he received both a bachelor of fine arts degree and a master’s degree in printmaking. After post-graduate work at New York’s Pratt Institute, he taught art for nine years before he was able to devote all his time to his artwork. He has participated in numerous international shows and has received many awards for his artwork. His work is found in many major private, corporate and museum collections worldwide, including the New York City Public Library, the United Nations and the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
