Reared in the great outdoors of Minnesota, artist Kevin Daniel developed a passion for nature and wildlife that he aims to capture in his art. Daniel began his painting career during the 1960s, depicting animals and wildlife, but has since widened his scope to include portraits and scenes of everyday family life. Daniel takes his inspiration from some of the great masters — Rembrandt, Renoir, Monet — and strives to mimic their attention to detail and fine use of color in his own work. For his work on waterfowl, Daniel has won national awards and is a two-time Minnesota Duck Stamp winner.
